All about the Kang Yatse 2 Expedition 6170m.

Kang Yatse, standing at an elevation of 6,170 meters, is situated at the terminus of the Markha Valley in the Ladakh region of Northwest India. The mountain boasts two primary summits, with the Lower Western Peak (Kang Yatse 2) being more accessible and frequently climbed, despite its lower elevation. The higher Eastern Peak (Kang Yatse 1) is the true summit, though less commonly ascended due to its technically challenging knife-edge traverse. An alternative route involves ascending the northeast range and then tackling a steep snow face directly. The Kang Yatse 2 trek is a thrilling adventure, and summiting this peak is a dream for every trekker at least once in a lifetime.
