  1. Day 1 Airport –Leh (By Air) (11562 i.e. 3524 mts ) 5 – 6 km.(30 minutes Drive Approx)

    Welcome to Ladakh, extending from the glaciers to the main Greater Himalayas; Ladakh is a land like no other. Your adventure begins upon arrival at Leh Airport, the capital and largest town of Ladakh, where the Ashoka Adventure team will meet you, drive you to the hotel for check-in, and provide a welcome drink upon arrival. We recommend you completely relax for the rest of the day, allowing you to settle in and rest up before we gather tomorrow at the hotel to brief you about the trip.

  2. Day 2 Leh – Phtoksar via Sir Sir la pass (15,700 i.e. 4565 mts ) 135 km.( 7 – 8 Drive Approx )

    After breakfast, we will proceed towards Phtoksar village, encountering Magnetic Hill and Sangam Point along the way; the journey to Sangge Lalok village will take us through numerous picturesque villages, providing excellent opportunities for photography. Beyond the village of Wanla, you will experience off-roading, making the stretch from Wanla to Phtoksar a remarkable journey. En route, we will traverse the Sir Sir La pass, eventually arriving at the charming Photoksar village for an overnight stay.

  3. Day 3 Phtoksar- Padum via Singge la pass (15,700 i.e. 5100 mts ) 135 km.( 7 – 8 Drive Approx )

    After breakfast, we will ride towards Padum from Phtoksar. The journey from Phtoksar to Zangla involves a full day of off-roading, so extra caution is advised; this day will put your capabilities and skills to the test. However, the route from Zangla to Padum offers remarkably smooth roads, allowing for a more comfortable ride until we reach Padum for an overnight stay.

  4. Day 4 Padum local sightseeing (12037 i.e. 3669 mts ) 120 km.( 5-6 Drive Approx )

    After breakfast, we will embark on sightseeing in Padum, followed by a visit to the enchanting Karsha Gonpa, known for its breathtaking views. Subsequently, we will explore the Sani Monastery and the picturesque lake in Sani village, proceeding to Sheela village to witness the waterfall. Later, we will drive back to Padum.

  5. Day 5 Padum – Purney (12,800 i.e. 3950 mts ) 52 km.( 2 -3 Drive Approx )

    After breakfast, we will depart for Purney, making a stop to visit Bardan Monastery en route. This day promises to be intriguing, as upon reaching Purney, we will embark on a 2-hour trek towards Phuktal Gonpa. Situated in the remote Lungnak Valley in the southeastern part of Zanskar in the Himalayan region of Ladakh, Phuktal Gonpa is the only Buddhist monastery in Leh Ladakh Zanskar that can still be reached solely by foot. Overnight stay at Purney.

  6. Day 6 Purney – Sarchu via Shinku la pass (12, 800 i.e. 4201 mts ) 165 km.( 7 – 8 Drive Approx )

    After breakfast, we will depart for Sarchu, encountering various water crossings and off-roading along the way; subsequently, we will cross the spectacular Shinkula Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges, and then proceed to cross the Baralacha Pass before reaching Sarchu. Overnight at Sarchu.

  7. Day 7 Sarchu to leh via Tanglang la pass (14,500 i.e. 4201 mts ) 250 km.( 7 – 8 Drive Approx)

    After breakfast at Sarchu, ride towards Leh, passing through Neek La Pass and Lachung La Pass. After covering 46 km from Pang ground, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some nomadic communities along the way before continuing the journey to Leh.

  8. Day 8 Departure

    In the morning, we will transfer you to Leh Airport for your flight back to your destination, marking the end of the tour with sweet memories of Zanskar and Ladakh.
