  1. Day 1 Arrival – Srinagar – Local Sightseeing 13 Km. (30 Mins. Drive Approx)

    Arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer to the hotel. Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu & Kashmir, is situated at an altitude of 1,730 m in the heart of the Kashmir Valley. Late in the evening, enjoy a short Shikara ride before dinner.

  2. Day 2 Srinagar – Local Sightseeing 96Km. (3 hrs Drive)

    After breakfast at the Srinagar houseboat, enjoy a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens. Begin with Nishat Garden, known as the ’Garden of Pleasure,’ built in the 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then, proceed to Shalimar Garden, known as the ’Garden of Love,’ constructed in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Following that, visit Chashmashahi. The Chashma Shahi Mughal Gardens in Srinagar have been cherished by emperors and picnickers alike and have now been restored to their past glory, despite the turbulent political unrest in the region.

  3. Day 3 Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg (9000ft i.e. 270 mts) 241 kms.(7 – 8 hrs Drive Approx)

    After breakfast, drive directly to Kargil (204 kms) and pass through Sonmarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 ft, Sonmarg, also known as ”The Meadow of Gold,” features snowy mountains against a cerulean sky as its backdrop. The Sindh River meandering through the valley is abundant with trout and mahaseer. Stop at Sonmarg for photography/tea. Continue your journey towards Kargil, passing over Zojila Pass. Pause at Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world, to enjoy a cup of tea. Then, drive along the Drass River until you arrive at Kargil and check into the hotel.

  4. Day 4 Kargil to Leh via Mulbekh & Lamayuru (11562ft i.e.3524mts) 234kms(7-8 hrs approx.)

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Leh, en route visiting the Monastery of Mulbekh, famous for the 1st-century Statue of Maitreya Buddha, carved out of a huge rock. Proceed further towards Lamayuru, passing through Namkila and Fatula Passes, the highest pass on the Srinagar – Leh road. Then drive to Leh and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

  5. Day 5 Leh to Nubra (10,000ft i.e. 3250mts) 125Km.(4-5hrs one way Approx)

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung-La pass (18,350 feet) by surface, passing through Horzey and Gangles Valley. On arrival in Nubra Valley, drive to Disket; visit Disket, the HQ town of Nubra Valley. Driving for 30kms takes you to Khalser Bridge. Visit Disket Monastery. Further drive from Disket to Hunder, where you may see a few Double Humped, Hairy, and Bactrian Camels.

    Overnight stay in Nubra.

  6. Day 6 Nubra to Turtuk (10,000ft i.e. 3250mts) 125Km.(4-5hrs one way Approx)

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Turtuk Village. Turtuk is a beautiful village located in the Nubra tehsil of the Leh district in the Leh-Ladakh region. This less-populated offbeat destination is situated approximately 205 km from Leh city and can be reached via the Khardungla-Nubra valley route.

  7. Day 7 Nubra to Leh (10,000 i.e. 3250mts) 125km (4-5 hrs one way Approx)

    Leave for Leh following the same route you took to Nubra. On the way, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

    Shanti Stupa: Located on the hilltop at Changspa, this stupa was constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization called ”the Japanese for World Peace.” The purpose behind its construction was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and promote world peace.

    Leh Palace: Built in the 17th century, Leh Palace served as the residential place for King Singey Namgyal. Although much smaller, it resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Leh Palace is now in ruins, with nine storeys, and has been deserted since the royal family shifted to the Stok Palace in the 1830s.

  8. Day 8 Leh – Pangong (14270 ft i.e.4350 mts) 134kms (4-5hrs one way)

    fter breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Pangong Lake. This route leads visitors through the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey, branching off from the Indus valley into the side valleys of Chemrey and Sakti. The Ladakh range is traversed by the Chang-La (18,000 feet/5,475 meters), which, despite its considerable elevation, is one of the more accessible passes. It remains open for much of the year, even in winter, except during periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, situated just beyond the foot of the pass, hosts an ancient temple.

  9. Day 9 Pangong – Leh 134kms (4-5hrs one way)

    After breakfast, set out for a walk at Pangong Lake, the highest saltwater lake in the world, shared by India (25%) and China (75%). Enjoy the beauty of the lake on its banks while appreciating the changing colors of this fascinating high-altitude lake. Later, drive back to Leh.

    Overnight stay in Leh.

  10. Day 10 Leh to Airport

    After Breakfast transfer from Leh to Airport to catch flight for onward destination with Sweet Holiday Memories of ladakh.
