  1. Day 1 Airport –Leh (By Air) (11562 i.e. 3524 mts ) 5 – 6 km.(30 minutes Drive Approx)

    Welcome to Ladakh, a land like no other, extending from the Glacier to the main great Himalayas. Your adventure starts with your arrival at Leh Airport. Leh, the capital and largest town of Ladakh, will be your base. The Ashoka Adventure team will meet you at the Airport and drive you to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival. We recommend complete relaxation for the rest of the day to acclimatize to the rarefied air at high altitude. Set aside time to settle in and rest before we start exploring the stunning landscape and roads. In the afternoon, our supported team leader will meet you at the hotel and brief you about the trip.

  2. Day 2 Leh to Khardong La Top (18300ft) 40 km.(1-2hrs one way Drive Approx)

    After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Khardong La pass, the highest motorable road in the world. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, located on the hilltop at Changspa. The stupa was constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as “the Japanese for World Peace”. The aim behind the construction of the Stupa was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and promote World peace. Overnight stay in Leh Hotel.

  3. Day 3 Leh – Pangong (one day) (14270 ft i.e. 4350 mts) 134kms (4-5hrs one way)

    After breakfast, leave for a full day excursion to Pangong Lake. This route takes you past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey, crossing the Chang-La (18,000 feet/5,475M), one of the world’s highest motorable passes. Tangse, beyond the pass, has an ancient temple. Pangong Lake, the highest saltwater lake in the world, is shared by India (25%) and China (75%). Enjoy the beauty of the lake while appreciating the changing colors of this high-altitude wonder. Drive back to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

  4. Day 4 Leh – Rumbak Valley (one day hike) (13,270 ft i.e.4050 mts) 45 kms (4-5hrs Round way)

    Morning after the breakfast we will move for one day trekking in Rumbak village, we will drive till much before Zingchen camp site where Rumbak rivers flows into the Indus which mates its down a mighty canyon further into the valley lies a beautiful village of Rumbak inhabited by 15 family. If you like to hike in snow than Rumbak is the most wonderful valley. is the home to a rich diversity of wildlife such as Snow leopards the MEOW. Tibetan wolves, blue sheep, Asiatic ibex, Ladakh urial, and many more, Serval species of bird like golden eagle, vultures. On the way to Rumbak valley towards Stok la pass We might to be see the Snow leopards (the mountain Meow) later back to leh, overnight at hotel.

  5. Day 5 Departure

    Departure to the Airport with lots of sweet memories of ladakh.
