Zanskar to Barandinala or Serchu trek 15 night 16 days

Chemrey gonpa of ladakh was founded by lama Tagsang Raspa and the dates back to the 17th century. Situated at a distance of approximately 40km to the east of the town of leh, this monastery belongs to the Drugpa order infact it serves as the residents of 30 monks. Chemray monastery of led ladakh was intialy built to serve as a memorial to king singee namgyal.

Takthok monastery of ladakh is situated in sakti vilage. The site where the monastery is now situated once served as the medition cave of Mahasidhas kunga phuntsog, the name takthok literally means rock roof.the monastery was named as both its roofs as well as walls are made up of rocks, takthok belongs to the Nying ma pa sects of buddhism also known as the old order and serves as the residence of 60 monks.

Morning after the breakfast we will drive towards zanskar valley from the new jeep roads from Nimoo to padum on the way we will see a lots of villages.

Tsazar to Tonza 4 – 5 hrs via Tsazar la pass 4120m. begin from Tsazar vilage with flat area and then ascend towards the pass which is around 4100m.when you will on the top you will have great view od Sham lower parts of zanskar valley with zanskar rivers flows in zigzag way towards zangla.the desend walk towards the camp will take one hour.overnight at camp.

Today the trek wil start from the camp with descend walk to the stream that will take almost one hours to the river site. Once you reach the river side than you have to walk along the river till sumdo or junction of the valley where you will have lots of willow trees and you have to cross serval time the same river.overnight at camp.

there will be several rivers crossing like day before but there will be less water as compare to day before.in between you will have big willow trees to take rest durying day time, after walking through gorge you will have descend walk to reach Kulumtse camp.overnight at camp.

 this day sloppy climbing from camp site to the pass, it is long gradul descend to reach the top of the pass, perhaps this is the highest pass from there you will have amazing view of the mountain ranges completely in the nature overnight at camp.

there will be river crossing this days.today you will have walk along the stream water but after three hours and then you will have gradul climb towards the small pass it takes around one and half hour once you reach on the top you see the camp it takes only 30 minutes from there,overnight at camp

there are two passes and in between there is a big stream with nomad huts at either side of the two passes, you might see people  greasing yaks,sheep in these places and there is breath taking views from the both passes, after you will reach Shaday village with 18 houses hold with beautiful landscape,overnight at camp.

where you will have small monastery of shaday is on a hill rock.walking from the beautiful village.villagers working in there barley fields,after Thangstak you will leads to higher places so called Nalakontsay base,overnight at camp

on this day you will have a view of a small lake on the way the lake is so blue and natural, you get surprise to see that walking will be easier after reaching the pass until the camp.overnight at camp.

this day you will walk along the valley where the people opf shun use to grass there animals.most og the time you will walk along the Tsarap river,ivernight at camp.

from today you will not have any passes to cross.it will be an  easy trek to the next camp, you have to cross Tichip chu which is following from Kharnak valley.overnight at camp.

By car you will drive to leh via Spang and through the Tanglang la pass 5265m.overnight at Hotel.
